Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics
Conservative Dentistry isthe branch of dentistry which deals with the treatment of decayed, malformed , discoloured, nonesthetic or fractured teeth and Endodontics deals with root canal treatment. “Committed to Conserve” is the main aim of our department.
Equipments
The department is well equipped with Radiovisiography (RVG), Surgical Operating Microscope, Latest Rotary systems, Soft tissue Lasers, Apex locators, EndoActivator, Obturating systems like Calamus, ThermaPrep, HotShot, Variable intensity light cure units and Sonic Handpieces. An additional departmental library. A fully functional restorative Dental Lab helps the post graduate students to deliver a comprehensive treatment.
Achievements
Two of our faculty members Dr. Pardeep Mahajan and Dr. Prashant Monga have cleared the Ph.D. Entrance exam being conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot . Our post graduate students have been awarded best paper presentation at state and national level conventions and conferences .
